General URBI features.
1.- Electrical Machine, with Minimum Electrical Consumption
2.- Use of Servomotors in the following main actuations:
- Stretcher
- Press
- Transfer of Preforms and Containers
3.- It thus contributes to excellent positioning and movement repetition, achieving high productivity up to 1,600 pack/h. per cavity
4.- High Flexibility for special format Blowing (high stretch ratios)
5.- Simple Change over Format
6.- Compact; reduced space taken up on site
7.- Excellent Investment / Output ratio
THE URBI PROCESS
The preforms come positioned on the automatic feeder and are placed on the transport system so that they pass through the infrared oven. After the oven and once the preforms are at a suitable temperature to be blown, they are transferred to the press by means of a servomotor where they will be, first of all preblown and stretched (powered by a servomotor), and then blown up to 40 Bar. Then the same servomotor which transfers the preforms extracts the containers from the press and the machine.
